DUSTIN PEDROIA HAS LESS EVASIVE SURGERY !

DUSTIN PEDROIA
Dr.Donald Sheridan preformed surgery today on Dustin Pedroia to repair the torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb.

G.M.Ben Cherington reported "It was the less complicated of the two possibilities. So that was good news.It sounded like everything went well.

Cherington confirmed the Sox are "fully confident" Pedroia would be ready for the start of the season.

The less evasive surgery means that Dustin did not damage his thumb further by 'playing thru' the injury.

Recovery time for Dustin should be 4 to 6 weeks.
If he doesn't have to change any diapers !
