~ GRANDERSON SIGNS WITH METS : Curtis Granderson has agreed to a four year $ 60 million deal with the New York Mets. The deal is pending a physical.

~ GOODBYE NATE : Nate McLouth is not going far by agreeing to a two year deal with the crosstown Nationals. But it will be far enough to keep him away from the Red Sox where he has been a 'thorn in their side' over the years. McLouth is moving to the other league !

~ BELTRAN TO YANKEES : Carlos Beltran has agreed to a three year deal with the New York Yankees for $ 45 million. The deal comes the same day Robinson Cano agreed to play for Seattle. The Yankees have so far this offseason, landed 'free agents' Beltran, Jacoby Ellsbury and Brian McCann at a cost of $ 283 million.

WORLD SERIES EXHIBIT
~ RED SOX 'WORLD SERIES' EXHIBIT OPENS AT HALL OF FAME : The Baseball Hall of Fame opened it's 'Autumn Glory' exhibit on Thursday, highlighting the 2013 Worlds Series 'run' by the Red Sox. The following items are on display: David Ortiz's postseason bat, Koji Uehara's World Series spikes, John Farrell's Game 6 jacket, David Ross's helmet and mask, Stephen Drew's postseason glove, Xander Bogaerts's batting gloves, Carlton Fisk's 'fake beard' he wore throwing out the first pitch in game 6, Jonny Gomes's batting gloves from game 4 when he hit his three-run homer and finally the Number 0 from the Fenway Park scoreboard at the end of the final game. The exhibit will be on display until the end of next seasons postseason.
